From where I'd rather be right now. Seriously looking forward to establishing my start date for my internship next year so I can figure out when I can go for a holiday.

I have been inspired by toy cameras of late and decided to expand on my toy camera/Lomo collection and thus, I have purchased a Lomo Colorsplash. The design of the camera aside, it is super easy to carry around and I like the comments I receive whenever I pull it out of my handbag. It's especially fun for taking photos on a night out. These are some test shots from the first role of film I used.

I Think I Smell A Rat

Some black and white shots I took on my Olympus Trip 35 earlier this year in Phuket, Thailand. I know where I'm moving to in about 5 years time when I retire.

Universal Traveler

I was lucky enough to visit Melbourne a couple of weeks ago to catch some Splendour in the Grass side shows, James Blake and The Kills to be more exact. I had such a wonderful time down there. Drank plenty of coffee and cider, ate a ridiculous amount of food and spent the majority of my money on new camera gear, including a filter and a Nikon SLR body. Looking forward to going back next year for pharmacy related affairs.

I need to stop being such a baby and just program some awesome music playlist and explore the fuck out of Brisbane, oh and take some photographs of it too. I've been so inspired lately by other people's photographs on several blogs that I follow.

I'm at a point in life where I am taking advantage of more opportunities to take photos and being less shy about getting my camera out. Also been thinking about the future and who I'll be living with next year. Just when I was starting to get comfortable with these guys.
